A RENDEZVOUS WHERE YOUNG AND OLD HAVE BEEN ADMIRING FOR OVER 100 YEARS THE WINDOW DISPLAYS ALWAYS CROWDED WITH CURIOUS SOULS AND CHILDLIKE WONDER. CHRISTMAS AT GALERIES LAFAYETTE IS THE PROMISE OF A BEAUTIFUL SHOW, WHERE THE CHARACTERS OF A STORY COME TO LIFE.
THIS FILM IS THE TEASER FOR CHRISTMAS 2023 HIGHLIGHT: THE OPPORTUNITY TO INTRIGUE AND PARTIALLY REVEAL THE GALERIES LAFAYETTE SPIRIT AND THE CREATIVITY OF OUR GUEST OF HONOR, CHARLES DE VILMORIN.
The window displays of the haussmann department store: like a theater on the street that gathers an audience of young and old curious onlookers. We draw inspiration from the staging, the mysterious atmosphere, and the very directional lighting typical of the theater.
In the style of a diorama, our film will be in cut-out paper: silhouettes and colorful shapes will represent our various elements.
Elsa envisioned a single sequence shot in the form of a backward tracking shot for an immersion into the diorama and the universe of “THE CHRISTMAS OF MY DREAMS,” injecting mystery and allowing for a surprise effect throughout the video.
