MEET PROFESSOR WE CARE, A HUMANIZED PRODUCT PERSONIFYING A CLARINS SPECIALIST. WE FOLLOW HER LESSONS IN HER LIVING LABORATORY THROUGH A SERIES OF EPISODES MADE IN STOPMOTION. IN EACH VIDEO WE LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT CLARINS WITH A TOUCH OH HUMOUR !
Clarins always does things differently. Elsa suggested they do the same with their CSR content. While everyone else sticks to institutional approaches, Elsa envisioned Clarins bringing one of their products to life and giving it a voice using stop-motion techniques through a multitude of mini-videos on Reels.
Clarins has always been dedicated to an educational mission. Explaining products, demonstrating application methods, providing tips and advice… The idea is to do the same for CSR: offering clear explanations, understood by everyone, by showing and demonstrating with the help of a small character reminiscent of Mc Lesggy or Jamy from “C’est pas sorcier.” Explaining is good, demonstrating is better.
Find a bit of Mr. Jacques Courtin in this character, who takes pleasure in talking about the brand and educating us. He shares with generosity and passion. A warm, caring tone with a certain sense of humor, just like Mr. Courtin.
Creating a connection, a sense of closeness. Who better than a product to talk about the efforts made to improve its packaging and formula? It is the best spokesperson, endearing, timeless, already known and trusted by the customers. And it’s funny and quirky, managing to be serious without taking itself too seriously.
Doing more, better, and loving it:
Doing more CSR content through these educational mini-episodes that would be a weekly appointment.
Doing it better than everyone else with this very disruptive, entertaining, and educational concept.
Loving it <3 Stop-motion is a technique born of passion. Everything is crafted and animated by hand with patience and precision.
To create the character of the professor, we used a vial of Hydra-essential serum that we hand-transformed into a puppet using molding, painting, and 3D printing techniques.
